The Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation is the premier credential in seller representation. It is designed to elevate professional standards and enhance personal performance. The designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI) who meet specific educational and practical experience criteria
To attain the SRS Designation, an Agent must complete the 2-day SRS Designation Course which provides a comprehensive foundation of skill development, training and resources to help real estate professionals represent the interests of sellers in today’s marketplace.
In this class students learn to:
- Increase listings and grow their business
- Demonstrate and communicate their value package to seller clients
- Understand and apply the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
- Understand and comply with state license laws when representing sellers
- Understand and apply methods, tools, and techniques to provide the support and services that sellers want and need
An SRS Agent applicant must also complete an Elective course from a list of recommended classes. (Some of the elective courses are as much as 30 hour classes.)
Professional Affiliation: Must be a Member in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS®
SRS Work Experience: Must document and submit proof of three completed transactions in which the agent acted solely as a seller representative.
Must pay annual dues for SRS designation through REBI in addition to annual NAR dues. This is one of several designations offered through REBI. Real Estate Business Institute.
